Finding a Company's Mission Statement

"A company's mission statement briefly explains the company's purpose, goals, and/or strategy. The mission statement is intended to communicate a sense of intended direction and to help guide the company's actions."

Finding Mission Statements using Library Databases

Access ABI/INFORM Collection (use your credentials to login)
  •  Click "Advanced Search"
  • Enter "company name" and update the filter to right for Company/organization - ORG field selection
  • Next, enter:  "mission statement" and select the Search button
    • Note:   Once you get results, you can limit by using filters on the left side, see view for selecting:       Company/organization:   "Starbucks Corp"

Finding Mission Statements on the Free Web

The best place to find a company's mission statement will usually be the company's own website. Try using a search engine such as Google, Duck Duck Go, or Bing and search for the company's name and the phrase mission statement.
