Finding Market Share

Companies increase market share through innovation, strengthening customer relationships, smart hiring practices, and acquiring competitors. A company's market share is the percentage it controls of the total market for its products and services.

Finding Market Share Information using Library Databases

Access ABI/INFORM Collection (use your credentials to login)
  •  Click "Advanced Search"
  • enter "market share"
  • AND ... the name of a company or product category/name, putting quotation marks around a name consisting of two or more words --
    • for example, "market share" AND "general motors", or "market share" AND (suv* OR "sport utility vehicle*"), or "market share" AND "yukon denali".

  • Enter a search for market share along with the name of a company or product category name.  Make sure to use quotations around a name consisting of two or more words. 
    • Examples:
